Once again I am appearing at the Lelung Dharma Centre‘s fundraising therapy day doing 25 minutes of tui na massage for the sum of £12, with all proceeds going to the charity that supports Tibetan buddhists in exile through one of their high lama’s, the 11th Lelung Rinpoche, who operates a small temple in Eastcote, close to my practice. The specific project that this event is raising funds for is the publication of a volume of work by the fifth Lelung Rinpoche which has been restored after decades of persecution by communist authorities in China and the Soviet Union. If you find the work of the current Lelung Rinpoche interesting and would like to learn more, BBC2 issued a documentary called Buddha in Suburbia about his life and mission which can be found on their website.
This is a perfect opportunity for anyone who would like to try a form of complementary therapy but is uncertain of booking for a full appointment or would just like to discover what a particular treatment is like. Currently the available therapies are:
Indian Head Massage
Tui Na (that’s me!)
Hopi Ear Candles
If you would like more information or to pre-book a particular therapy, please call Connie on 07976 969 858 or Maureen on 01923 836 220. You can also email firstname.lastname@example.org or book directly on the day.
Naturally my acupuncture skills will be left at home due to hygiene and safety reasons but I will be happy to talk to anyone who is interested in acupuncture as to their suitability for treatment at my clinic at a later date.
